Artemiza was born in Sinaloa, Mexico and raised in Southern California until she was 17 years old. She moved to Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Global Management with a specialization in Finance. At an early age she was exposed to Real Estate by her parents who owned rental property in California and Arizona. At the age of 18 she bought her first rental property. She then moved on to flipping properties and from there selling homes with owner financing. As she continued her Real Estate Investing, she worked at a Financial Planning Firm. Working her way from an Intern to Office Manager, while obtaining her Series 7, Series 24, Insurance License, and becoming a Notary Public. After 5 years she decided to move on to a new venture and bought a Vending Machine business where she handled all the bookkeeping, accounting, and all other aspects of daily business operations. After several years she decided to go back into the work force in the Food and Beverage industry working at several event venues in the Phoenix area until she settled at the Phoenix Convention Center where she became Catering Manager. She managed 15 – 20 employees, over saw events of 1,000 plus people, handled employee scheduling, and collaborated with chef’s, city managers and clients to execute flawless events.

After a few years she decided to return to her roots and use her Real Estate experience to become a licensed Real Estate agent with Keller Williams Professional Partners. She was responsible for the marketing and sale of homes, assisting clients with their dream home search, and handled all paperwork and bookkeeping involved in the Real Estate business. As a licensed agent she took a position with a Property Management firm as an Assistant Property Manager where she managed a portfolio of 100 plus properties. She was responsible for processing rental applications, writing leases, doing move in and move out inspections, and handling maintenance calls.

Artemiza first came to Rocky Point in 2003 and it was love at first sight. In 2004 her family bought a beach home in Las Conchas and with the family history of real estate investing it was only a matter of time before they started buying properties in Rocky Point. At one point her family owned condos on Sandy Beach and a fractional share in Las Conchas.

With her love and experience of both Rocky Point and Real Estate it was time to make her dream of moving to Rocky Point a reality and the natural choice was for her to become a licensed Real Estate agent. Now she shares that love and experience to help others live their dreams of owning a beach home.
